TrueClot® Hemorrhage Control Training Kits provide everything needed to simulate proper wound packing using hemostatic gauze as well as other bleeding control techniques. The Through-and-through (TNT) Bleeding Control Task Trainers are realistic, low-cost and repetitive training props for wound packing, XSTAT injectable hemostatic sponges and hemostat clamping techniques. The task trainers have realistic entry and exit wounds with a bleeding vessel and boney landmark. When used with TrueClot® Blood Simulant and Simulated Hemostatic Gauze for wound packing trainer, realistic simulated blood clots will form. The TNT wound trainer can also be used for XSTAT injectable hemostatic system training using simulated sponges. The bleeding vessel may also be clamped with a hemostat or other forceps to stop blood flow.
